Alys Beach - FL

Alys Beach - FL

Jul 17, 20261 min read

  • Description

    • A 159-acre resort town on Florida’s 30A corridor — the third of DPZ’s Gulf-coast New Urbanist towns, after Seaside and Rosemary Beach (designed 2003; client EBSCO). Conceived by DPZ CoDesign, every building is white, with architecture borrowing from Bermuda, Antigua, and North Africa — stuccoed walls, interior courtyards, and butteries. 899 dwelling units and 187,000 sq ft of retail. The heavy use of private courtyards distinguishes it from DPZ’s earlier towns.
