- One of three DPZ-designed New Urbanist beach towns on Florida’s 30A corridor (with Seaside and Alys Beach). DPZ CoDesign created the town plan in 1995; the ~105-acre town has 800 dwelling units, 55,000 sq ft of retail, and a mixed-use town center. It applied lessons from Seaside — rear-alley systems to manage vehicles and a more intimate town square — with architecture drawing on Dutch West Indies, New Orleans, and St. Augustine colonial styles.
