Edge Esmeralda - CA

• Description

  • A month-long “pop-up village” organized by Devon Zuegel (with Edge City) in Healdsburg, California (Sonoma County), first held in June 2024 with ~1,300 participants. It serves as a prototype and first phase for the permanent Esmeralda - CA community — testing both the “hardware” (urbanism, architecture) and the “software” (events, programming, culture). Run as an attendee-driven “unconference” (about 93% of events organized by attendees). Returned in 2025 (May 24 – June 21).
